Nursery Practitioner- 24 hours

The role: At Next we have a great opportunity for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our onsite nursery at the Next Head Office in Leicester. This is a part time position working 24 hours per week 10am-2pm Monday-Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & 9:30am-2:30pm on Friday   What you'll take on: * Plan and implement sophisticated, age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire individual development. * Manage comprehensive "Records of Achievement" for your allocated children, ensuring their milestones are documented with care. * Act as a professional point of contact for families, fostering a collaborative approach to their child’s learning journey. * Work closely with parents of children with SEND to ensure seamless integration and tailored support. * Maintain a culture of vigilance, adhering to strict safeguarding and Health & Safety protocols to ensure a secure environment. * Oversee the well being of children, including nutritional needs, hygiene, and providing a comforting environment for rest and recovery.   What you'll bring: * A recognised Level 3 Nursery qualification (or working towards it) and a strong command of English. * Deep practical knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and a proven track record of purposeful planning. * The ability to liaise confidently with parents, carers, and senior management while maintaining strict confidentiality. * An enthusiastic, energetic, and flexible approach.
