Class 1 HGV Driver

PM Shift Motherwell, Lanarkshire Planned start date of 7th July The role We are looking for a number of LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of Motherwell, Lanarkshire.   Base salary of £18.05 per hour (c£39,647)  We also pay additional premium rates* , weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working of x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme   What you’ll take on You’ll be a part of our critical distribution operation  * transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores along with some trunk runs.     * Adopt a  ‘Safety First’ mindset where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues. * All shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 which includes 2 full weekends in 10 and some other weekend days.  The shift starts around 18:30, totaling 40 hours per week.   What you’ll bring * Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card * Minimum of 1 year Class 1 HGV driving experience including the coupling and uncoupling of trailers * Maximum of 6 points on license and no convictions or disqualifications.   Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.
