About the Role
An opportunity has arisen to work as part of the HR & People Hub in the Business
Support Services Team within Adults & Communities as a Senior Administrative
Assistant based at Bassett Street South Wigston. To support the Hub Manager in
delivering the work of a specialist Hub, providing an efficient, effective, and
comprehensive business support service across all of Adults & Cultural
services. Have specialist technical knowledge in the work of the Hub they are
assigned to and to hold in-depth knowledge of the work of the department and
services that their allocated Hub supports.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
* NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant area e.g. Finance or Business
Administration or similar appropriate equivalent
* Working with a large range of stakeholders at varying levels
* the importance of information confidentiality (GDPR)
* To have a flexible approach and work under pressure against tight timescales
* Experience of using complex and numerous IT software systems
* Ability to take comprehensive minutes and experience of using Microsoft
applications to support with this.
* The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate
spoken English is essential for the post and remains calm and focused when
under pressure
