Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures according to relevant codes. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Diagnose electrical problems using specialized tools and equipment. Ensure all work is compliant with local and national electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Provide detailed documentation of work performed and materials used. Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and provide timely resolutions. Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Strong understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and wiring diagrams. Ability to safely handle electrical tools and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment. A A company van, iPad and a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 are available. This includes 28 days’ holiday, bank holidays and an extra day for your birthday. Subcontractor roles are also available. Quarterly company outings are provided.
