This could be your opportunity to excel as a Reporting Officer, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success. As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We're looking for a dedicated Reporting Officer to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Reporting Officer to join our water hygiene team at Bretby. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in administration and typing work, along with knowledge of water hygiene services, is essential to thrive in this position. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Producing schematic drawings for inclusion in legionella risk assessment reports using AutoCAD Undertaking typing as required, typically legionella risk assessments Maintaining and updating spreadsheets with site work completion and reports to ensure deadlines are met and invoicing is accurate Assisting with administration tasks including preparing quotations, checking delivery dockets/bills, and raising purchase requisitions Authorising invoices for payment and booking site visits for field-based staff Booking accommodation for field staff away on jobs and arranging cars/vans for site travel Logging information from staff timesheets and other general administrative duties as required Any other duty or work reasonably requested by the Employer Qualifications To be a successful Reporting Officer, you should be able to demonstrate: Competence in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel Excellent attention to detail • Experience in administration and typing work environments Good communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines Desirable: Water hygiene/legionella control knowledge Experience in AutoCAD Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
