As an Executive Director within the Equity Exotics trading team, you will be
responsible for trading equity exotic products on EMEA and Global equity indices
with clients. Your role will involve pricing complex structures, managing risk,
and collaborating with quantitative research teams to develop innovative
solutions for our clients.
Job Responsibilities
* Price equity exotic structures for sales teams and clients
* Participate in the risk management of equity exotic portfolios
* Work with PnL and Market Risk teams to substantiate daily risk and PnL
* Collaborate with Quantitative Research to build models for new exotic
structures
* Provide execution and risk management services to our global client franchise
* Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Extensive experience as an equity trader with previous experience in trading
index exotics
* Solid understanding of equity exotic products and derivatives pricing models
* Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience trading equity exotics at a large investment bank
* Knowledge of correlation products and equity hybrid structures
* Familiarity with algorithmic trading strategies
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related
quantitative field
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful
candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the
assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the
Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority
and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
