About the Role
We are looking for an additional Community Navigator to join our Family Hubs
team, working alongside our other two Community Navigators, this role will focus
on promoting our Best Start in Life agenda, Reducing Parental Conflict and Five
to Thrive. It is therefore essential that you have extensive knowledge and
experience of promoting this work and working in partnership with local agencies
across Leicestershire. You will be part of our Best Start in Life team and also
work closer with our Best Start Inclusion Practitioners to promote their group
work offer.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
* NNEB/NVQ3 or equivalent in Childcare, Youth and Community, Health and Social
Care, IAG, Community Regeneration or other relevant area.
* Plan and deliver events in the local community to engage families in
conversations about service planning, quality assurance, etc.
* Experience of working directly with families in community settings and with
diverse communities
* Experience delivering training
* Ability to engage children and parents from a wide range of backgrounds and
with a wide range of communication needs/preferences.
* Ability to work with a range of professionals from many different
organisations.
* Organisation and planning skills
