Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum  Hours per week: 37 hours  Interview date: Week Commencing 3 August 2026   Our Finance service provides expert support that helps the council deliver reliable and high-quality public services. These services work closely across the organisation to make informed decisions, use public money wisely and plan for the long term so that we can continue to deliver positive outcomes for our communities.   In this key role, you will provide comprehensive support across a variety of Finance, Accountancy and Procurement functions. You will be responsible for reviewing, developing and consulting on changes to ORACLE and other finance systems to improve efficiencies through better processes and management information.   You will work closely with the Systems and Process Improvement Lead to gather requirements from teams across the Finance service, contributing to strategic improvement roadmaps for all processes and identifying areas for development.      The Support Officer should be educated to HNC or NVQ Level 4 in a relevant profession or demonstrate equivalent experience.    The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships. They will also demonstrate excellent workload management, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
