We’re looking for a dedicated Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride. We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Senior Technician to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in engineering environments, along with knowledge of structural testing and instrumentation, is essential to thrive in this position. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): • Lead and undertake product performance and site testing • Building static load tests and installing instrumentation • Timely completion of technical work and reporting of results To undertake the physical testing of piled foundations at client sites The role involves significant physical activity including manual handling of test equipment, as well as working outdoors on construction sites in all weathers Knowledge of testing equipment and methodologies Able to set up equipment and conduct test methods in line with agreed RAMS Competent to analyse and interpret basic data Completion of site and test sheets Undertake tasks in line with company QHSE protocol High customer service ethic – is passionate about meeting customer expectations and improving service levels Client focused delivery Put the client at the centre of all decisions that are made Support colleagues in achieving for the client Respect the knowledge of colleagues and clients Listen to the views and opinions of others Always be polite and courteous Contribute in a positive way Progressive Look for ways to improve processes, systems, procedures, services and delivery in all roles Improve skills, knowledge and experience wherever possible to the mutual benefit of the client, SOCOTEC UK and the individual Question things which are not understood to improve individual performance and that of SOCOTEC UK Ownership Take responsibility for delivering clients requirements Deliver tasks to the best of one’s ability at all times Take pride in delivering excellent service GCSE English / Mathematics Qualifications To be a successful Senior Technician, you should be able to demonstrate: Previous experience in a similar foundations testing role Full manual UK driving licence CSCS card or CPCS Slinger Signaller desirable but we can facilitate this for you if needed Good practical and communication skills There will be a need to travel and stay away in hotels Additional Information Why SOCOTEC?
