Our Global Trade Team plays a pivotal role in driving growth across our international network—connecting expertise, identifying opportunities, and strengthening relationships globally. We are now looking to appoint a Business Development Associate to support the continued expansion of our global trade initiatives. This is a highly visible and varied position, ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial insight, relationship-building, and data-led decision-making. You will support the identification and development of new business opportunities, help manage pipeline activity, and enable collaboration across teams to drive growth. How you'll make an impact Business Development & Pipeline Support Identify and assess new business opportunities across the global network Support the development and progression of opportunities with internal stakeholders Track and manage pipeline activity, including referrals, introductions, and conversions Facilitate connections between teams to support revenue growth Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with brokers, account teams, and business units Collaborate across retail, wholesale, and specialist teams to support global initiatives Coordinate follow-ups, introductions, and key actions to maintain momentum Provide updates and insights to stakeholders with clarity and confidence Data & Commercial Insights Analyse sales and pipeline data to identify trends and opportunities Produce reports and dashboards to support business decision-making Respond to data requests with accuracy and pace Use insights to inform strategy and improve performance Operational & Process Support Support the delivery and coordination of global trade initiatives Maintain accurate data within CRM systems (Salesforce) Drive improvements in reporting, tracking, and data processes Promote consistency and efficiency across workflows About You Skills & Experience Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams Commercial awareness and interest in business development activities Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualisation) Experience with tools such as Power BI, Salesforce, or similar platforms advantageous Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Understanding of compliance and governance standards Experience in a business development, sales support, or analytical role Insurance or financial services experience beneficial, but not essential Proven experience working with data and reporting Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
