Children’s Services can only deliver life‑changing support when the foundations

detail‑driven Practice Coordinator who thrives on keeping things running
smoothly and loves being the person others rely on.

this is a role where your work truly matters.
What you’ll be doing
Every day will bring something different. You’ll be the go‑to person for
operational support, helping our teams focus on delivering direct work with
children and families. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing records and confidential information with accuracy and care
* Processing invoices and orders, reconciling accounts and supporting budget
monitoring
* Booking travel, accommodation and transport passes
* Checking and receipting goods and services
* Maintaining spreadsheets, databases and websites
* Producing reports, statistics and management information
* Supporting statutory processes such as DBS checks
* Drafting letters and maintaining procedural documents
* Organising and minuting meetings, events and training sessions
* Acting as a friendly, professional first point of contact for colleagues,
partners and the public
* Handling incoming and outgoing post
* Promoting safe working practices and following all departmental policies

What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A confident communicator with great customer service skills
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital systems
* Highly organised, accurate and able to prioritise their own workload
* A team player with a positive, flexible approach
* Skilled in record‑keeping and numeracy
Essential
* 3 GCSEs (including English & Maths)
* Previous office experience
* Experience dealing with a range of contacts professionally
Desirable
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration
* Knowledge of financial processes
* Experience using AI technology
* Minute‑taking experience
* Understanding of safeguarding
