Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Duration: 3-6 month Outside IR35 contract Location: Gloucester About the role Benefact Group are looking for a Lead Python Developer (Outside IR35) to join our Gloucester office. This contract is required to design and deliver a proof of concept integrating a modern offsite rating platform with an on‑prem IBM Power (Power11) environment. The objective is to demonstrate how Python-based services can operate alongside a core insurance platform (IPlus – successor to i90), supporting legacy modernisation through practical, working outputs. By the end of September 2026, you will be expected to deliver a working integration proof of concept that demonstrates a viable approach to connecting modern services with our existing insurance platform, enabling future modernisation at pace.
