Role: Quality, Assurance and Evaluation Coordinator

In this role you will design, deliver and manage, co-ordinate and
support quality and standards within learning and development.
Key responsibilities:
* Use an evidence-based approach to translate learning and development
delivery quality and curriculum standards/ requirements into relevant policies,
processes, and frameworks.
* Work with key stakeholders and partners to ensure a joined-up approach to
quality, standards and continuous improvement that meets organisational, and
learner needs, developing standardised templates, processes and resources
where required.
* Conduct assessment and internal verification checks for learner portfolios and
support the Quality and Accreditation Coordinator and delivery teams with
qualification framework programmes including supporting the End Point
Assessment processes where relevant
* Support the design, development and delivery of new apprenticeship programmes
throughout the force ensuring compliance with apprenticeship standards by
working in conjunction with the delivery teams and the Quality
and Accreditation Coordinator.
* Research, design, develop and deliver policies and frameworks that are capable
of meeting individual, organisational and external body quality, and
standards with available resources and within specified timescales
* Engage in evidence-based research and keep abreast of advances and
best practice in the management of quality and standards such as curriculum design,
assessment and evaluation and national/ external guidelines.
* Evaluate practices and frameworks to inform development and continuous
improvement.
* Manage key policies, processes, frameworks, and schemes that underpin effective learning and development delivery, co-ordinating activity and ensuring
they meet business outcomes.
* Able to identify and engage effectively with key stakeholders and to take
appropriate steps to understand their needs and concerns and to undertake
research and identify relevant evidence-base to support development quality
processes such as evaluation.
* Understands and applies best practices in designing, developing, and adapting
policies, frameworks and processes and associated resources and communicating
these to the key stakeholders.
* Able to identify opportunities and threats, and act to implement change knowledge
and understanding of current best practice and underpinning quickly by
implementing assessment and accreditation schemes/academic theory.
* Able to take a measured approach to risk, ensuring practicality and
flexibility quality/curriculums identified through evidence-based research
and associated
financial, people and materials resourcing requirements and to create and follow
project plans, and to identify and mitigate risks to delivery.
* Participate in networking opportunities, reflecting on practice, and sharing learning
with peers to inform and improve police, processes, and practice.
Skills and experience:
* Minimum level 4 Certificate in Education and Training.
* Experienced in curriculum management/design/development.
* Experienced in managing frameworks/practices relating to learning.
* Experienced in learning and development delivery at post 16 or a higher education
environment.
* Skilled at co-ordinating activity with multiple stakeholders and across different business
areas – ensuring processes and activities run smoothly and effectively.
* Experience in external inspections.
* Delivery/organising CPD suitable for adult learning environment.

Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which
must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire
Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years is required for
this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a
pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
