About Jumeirah Carlton Tower   Located in the heart of Knightsbridge, Jumeirah Carlton Tower is a landmark London address where heritage meets contemporary luxury. The hotel offers stunning views across the city, access to the private Cadogan Gardens, a variety of dining experiences, and a rooftop healthclub and spa with London’s largest naturally lit swimming pool.   About the Job:   An opportunity has arisen for a Day Luggage Porter to join us at Jumeirah Carlton Tower.    The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:   * To tidy the luggage area and Concierge desk as required. * To man the Telephone main switchboard as and when required. * To ensure all requests are the Concierge desk are handled in a professional and courteous manner. * To assist in the Security of the hotel by reporting any suspicious persons or happenings. * To ensure a proper handover is prepared for the morning shift. * To deliver extra beds, turndown beds and clean rooms as requested by your line manager. * To park cars safely when required and issue correct dockets with all details provided as blank filled in. * To prepare the Banqueting Boards and assist in directing guests to functions. * Is fully aware of his/ her work schedule and ensures adequate notice is given with circumstances when he/ she is prevented from adhering to the schedule. * Reports any incidents, complaints, suspicious persons or safety hazards immediately.   About you:   The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:   * Must have UK driving license. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized service to discerning guests, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. * Familiarity with luggage handling procedures, including proper lifting techniques and care for guests' belongings, to maintain the hotel's high standards of service. * Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail and upholding the hotel's brand reputation.
